Indonesia - Frozen Vannamei Shrimp

Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic country, located between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. This advantageous geographical location has helped Indonesia become one of the largest sources and producers of marine and fishery products such as shrimp, achieving seafood exports worth over USD 1.3 billion annually with shrimp exports accounting for around 35% of the total seafood export value.

In recent years, Indonesia has surpassed Thailand and Vietnam to position itself as the third largest shrimp exporter followed by China and India. The main destination markets for Indonesian shrimp are the US and Japan, with the US accounting for around 60%.

Tridge Vannamei Shrimp is offered in Frozen (IQF) form, and its net weight is 100%, meaning we do not freeze the shrimp with added water. We currently offer two types of processed Vannamei shrimp: peeled and deveined (PND) & peeled and deveined with tails (PDTO). Our Vannamei Shrimp is usually offered in 40 FT Reefer containers, and each container can carry around 14 to 17 metric tons of frozen shrimp.

In addition to Vannamei shrimp, we also offer Pink Shrimp and Black Tiger Shrimp caught from the sea, and are usually offered in Block Frozen form. However, upon request, shrimp can be provided in Frozen (IQF) form. All Tridge shrimp products are packed in 5 or 10 kg carton boxes.
