Palm Kernel Shells Screening and Non-Screening Palm Kernel Shells (PKS).



Palm Kernel Shells (PKS), High Quality Solutions for Biomass Fuel and Other Energy. PKS is a product produced from the kernel of palm oil fruit and has two main variants, namely those that have gone through a filtering process and those that have not gone through a filtering process. The following is a complete description of the two PKS variants, including their uses and high-quality laboratory test results.



 



   A. Screening Palm Kernel Shell (PKS)



The Screening PKS has gone through a separation and filtering process to produce a more uniform size. In this process, certain size fractions can be removed to obtain consistent results.



 



    B. Non-Screening Palm Kernel Shell (PKS)



PKS that is not filtered remains in its original form, without going through a filtering process. Therefore, these products can have a greater variety of sizes, including flakes and powders.



 



   • Use



   a) Biomass Fuel, Suitable for use as fuel in biomass power plants, boilers or heating systems.



   b) Raw materials for making charcoal, Can be further processed into activated carbon for various uses.



 



   • Laboratory Tests



    1. Water Content (%) : Laboratory Test Results, Humidity <10%.



    2. Particle Size (mm) : Laboratory Test Results 5-10 mm (uniform).



    3.Calorie Value (MJ/kg) :Laboratory Test Results 20-22 MJ/kg.



 4. Ash Content (%) : Laboratory Test Results, Less than 2% - 3% ash.



 



PKS, filtered or not, provides an environmentally friendly biomass fuel solution. With good laboratory test results, this product offers high quality and efficiency, in line with the high standards of the energy industry and sustainable agriculture.
