Palm Acid Oil (PAO) is a by-product of the palm oil industry, which is obtained through the process of acidulation of palm oil. PAO has a high content of free fatty acids (FFA) ranging from 50% to 70%, which makes it unsuitable for use in food and feed applications. However, it is widely used in various industries such as soap, biodiesel, and animal feed.



In the soap industry, PAO is used as a feedstock to produce soap noodles or fatty acids for soap manufacturing. In the biodiesel industry, it is used as a feedstock for the production of biodiesel, which is a renewable energy source. In the animal feed industry, PAO is used as an energy source and as a binder to improve the quality of feed pellets.



PAO is a valuable by-product of the palm oil industry, which contributes to the sustainability of the industry by reducing waste and providing an alternative source of raw material for various industries.
