Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is a by -product produced from the process of extraction of palm oil (palm kernel oil) from oil palm seeds. After the oil is taken through the mechanical pressing method or the solvent extraction, the remaining solid pulp produced is called the Palm Kernel Expeller.



General Characteristics:



Form : coarse or pellet (depending on the processing)



Color : dark brown gray



Aroma : typical such as vegetable oil or animal feed



Water content : ranging from 7-10%



Coarse fiber content : height (around 16-20%)



Careful Protein Content : Medium (14-18%)



Fat Content : About 6-8%
