Finger Joint Laminated Boards offer a solution to increase the shortage of solid timber panels. These strips are finger jointed along their matching to the desired lengths and then edge coated with special resins which can withstand boiling water tests. And to further smooth the surface with a sanding finish for a nice touch. Species are available mainly in Rubberwood and Merkusii Pinewood.



 



The Rubberwood for production of Finger Joint Laminated Board is pressurized in Vacuum Impregnator with special chemical treatment inside and to be Kiln Dried also until achieving the needed moisture content.



 



Meanwhile, the Merkusii Pinewood for production of Finger Joint Laminated Board should be treated in the same solution to prevent microscopic fungal which cause a bluish or grayish discoloration on the lumber surface and to be Kiln Dried also until achieving the specified moisture content. Finger Joint Lamination adds subtle contrasts, texture, and designed to the surface of our Rubberwood and Merkusii Pinewood products, which cannot be found in natural solid lumber.



 



This material is ideal for shelving, table top, counter top, kitchen cabinet, flooring, staircases, and other panel applications.



GRADE FJLB PINE



AA = No Defect, 2 Face Clear with Little Putty Repair



A1 = Slight Bluestain Face/back



A2 = 1 Face Clear (A grade at face & AP grade at back)



AP = Reddish colour at both side



BB = Blue Stain



CC = Blue Stain, Live Knot and Centre Heart



CD = Blue Stain, Centre Heart, Live dan Dead Knot



GRADE FJLB RUBBER



AA = No Defect, 2 face clear with little putty repair



AB = 1 face clear (AA grade at face & BB grade at back)



BB = Bluestain, black line, dead knot, live knot



AMK = Slight Bluestain



MT = Dark red color with no defect
