Is a product of dried coconut meat, with the aim of extracting the oil contained therein. The drying process is done traditionally by drying the coconut flesh in the sun or by smoking it. In modern terms, this is done using a drying machine. Coconuts that have become copra will then be further processed to produce coconut oil products or other derivative products. Copra contains nutrients that are useful for health. Copra contains healthy fats, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and anti-inflammatory substances which

are beneficial for fighting free radicals, preventing heart disease, boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation.

Besides the need for crude coconut oil (CCO) derived from copra, the back-to-nature trend in the food and cosmetic industry sector also plays a role in increasing the production of copraderived products such as virgin coconut oil (VCO) and others. Currently we can only produce coconut copra that is blackish brown in color with a moisture content of 5-7% and in the future, we can process it into other processed products if there is a joint order in other processed forms. The raw materials for coconut shells and fiber are not further processed and are wasted.
