PT. Sahala Ekspor Indonesia is an Indonesian company that produces and exports palm broomsticks. The establishment of this company was motivated by a large amount of oil palm land in Riau Province and the high amount of waste palm fronds produced.



Therefore, this company was founded in 2022 to process waste from palm oil fronds while at the same time boosting the local economy by empowering local communities and farmers to participate in production activities, especially in the Kandis Sub-District, Riau.



PT. Sahala Ekspor Indonesia processes waste from palm oil fronds into a useful product, namely Palm Broom Stick which is in high demand by other countries, such as India, Pakistan, Thailand, and China. The way to become palm sticks, the palm fronds will be sharpened manually or by machine and dried afterward.



Palm Broom Sticks produced will be equated to the needs and specifications of each country. The sticks produced have a length specification of 80-120 cm, are free of fungus, yellowish-green in color, and there is a hump part (the base of the palm frond which has a slightly larger size).



We have a production capacity of approximately 75 tons/month or the equivalent of three 40ft containers, but capacity can be upgraded as demand increases.



We produce palm broomsticks ourselves with our self-efforts and abilities without mixing sticks belonging to other people's sticks and have a quality control team that always monitors and controls the production process to packaging so that the products produced are always in good condition and according to specifications.
