Tanasak is a hexagonal-shaped wicker basket crafted using palmyra leaves by various tribes in Timor Island including Tetun tribe. Meanwhile, Kemak tribe names the basket Taka A. The locals often use Tanasak for traditional ceremony to contain Seserahan and betel nut or jewelries and various things in daily usage.
