Sweet potatoes originated in Central or South America, were first cultivated in Peru, refer to a vine species (Ipomoea batatas) in the  bindweed or morning glory family (Convolvulaceae).  They are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber; have a lower glycemic index than "regular" potatoes.



 



Serving Tips :



Steam for 5 minutes, eat while warm.



Preheat the oven to 200°C and place a piece of foil on a baking sheet, set them on the baking sheet, then roast for 10 minutes.
