Vetiver essential oil presents an earthy, eclectic and exotic fragrance, from a perennial grass that grows in tropical Asia. Because Vetiver is produced from the steam distillation of plant roots, the essential oil produced also has a woodsy aroma. Vetiver is ideal for diffusing at work or the classroom because its aroma can create an uplifting atmosphere. It is used as part of Ayurvedic medicine where the oil is used to maintain balance, and cure many health disorders, loss of energy, skin problems and arthritis pain. In addition, it is used to treat headaches and high body temperature. The oil was used for massage for their wedding sometime before the wedding. Vetiver oil is used in Chinese medicine preparations to replenish dry skin, balance emotions, focus, and regulate the body. Vetiver Oil shows many health benefits to its users where it acts as a sedative, anti-inflammatory, tonic, aphrodisiac, antiseptic, etc.
