Glass Splinter is one of the medicinal herbs used in traditional medicines plant native to tropical countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, in which the leaf extract is used as Diuretic, anti calculi stone, analgesic, anti inflammation and anti cancer. Crude extracts of this plant have been found to be cyto-toxic to human cancer cell lines and protective against chemically-induced hepato-carcinogenesis
