Arabica coffee is the most popular type of coffee in the world. Generally this type of coffee grows at an altitude of about 3.000-7.000 feet above sea level. The substropics are the ideal areas of Arabica coffee. About taste, Arabica has a variety of flavors. Like floral, fruity, orange, buttery, chocolate, caramel, etc. Even from each region have a different taste. 



Robusta Coffee grows at low elevation and higher temperatures.Robusta coffee plants are much easier to grow and care for,  and can even provide higher yields than Arabica.  About taste, Robusta is often described as a coffee that is bitter or sharp with a taste character like wood and rubber. The bitter taste comes from the high caffeine content in Robusta.



The Differences of Arbica and Robusta



Arabica has 2x lower caffeine  content than Robusta.



The sugar content  in Arabica coffee is 2x higher than Robusta.



Arabica coffe is more expensive than Robusta coffee, because it is more difficult to care for this coffeeplant until harvest time.



Arabica coffee beans are oval in shape and slightly larger in size than Robusta coffee.
