With a lot of chemical content (curcumin, desmetoxicumin, bisdesmethoxycurcumin, essential oil consisting of sesquiterpene ketones, turmerone, tumeon , Zingiberen , felandren, sabinen, borneol and sineil. Fat , Carbohydrates , Protein , Starch, Vitamin C , and mineral salts (iron, phosphorus, and calcium).

Turmeric is a medicinal plant form of shrubs that spreads throughout the tropics. The turmeric plant grows branched with a height of 40-100 cm, the tip of the leaf base is sharp, the leaf edge is flat. The outer skin of the rhizome is brownish orange, the flesh of the fruit is yellowish red.

Turmeric is a plant with many benefits other than as a spice in cooking, turmeric can also be used as a medicine such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-microbial, cancer prevention, anti-tumor, and lowering blood lipid levels.
