TERMINALIA CATAPPA is a large tropical tree in the leadwood tree family, combretaceae, which grows mainly in the tropical regions of Asia, Africa, and Australia. They fall in the dry season, before falling, turning pink-reddish or yellow-brown, due to pigments such as violaxanthin, lutein, and zeaxanthin. The decay of ketapang leaves in water makes the water color change like the color of tea water, the tanin contained in ketapang leaves can reduce the PH of the water so that it makes anti-bacterial and anti-fungal so that the fish will be naturally healthy.
