PALM SUGAR or gula kawung / gula aren is a sweetener made from the sap that comes from the male flower bunches of the palm tree.

The strong aroma of sap is characteristic of palm sugar.
Our palm sugar products are packaged per 250 grams (approximately), packed twice.
The first packaging is to use flexible plastic (cling wrap) made from Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). After that, it was wrapped in a plastic vacuum.
Palm sugar that has been cooked and cooled by a natural process is immediately packaged, so it is always new and fresh when you open it for consumption.
Basically, palm sugar block does not have an expiration date, but we still announce "best before" on the packaging, which is 1 year after being packaged.
